    1. Usually I'm dreaming of spring by now, but this year I want LOTS of snow to make up for last year's drought! :)

  6. Now that is how winter should look, much better than the grey, rainy, muddy affair it is here this year!

    1. I agree - about how winter should look. Too much rain is very dispiriting. :)

    1. Oh dear - I'm sorry. I always thought summer would be green and glowing in Ireland. Here's hoping you get some sunshine. :)

    1. It's raining now (Thursday night). Dang. A lot of that snow will be washed away by the weekend, and then the mud will freeze when the temps go back down. Ah, winter! :)

  13. Well! It's good to see somewhere in the world it really is winter. It was in the 60's here today and should be in the 70's for the weekend. :-( Not exactly my cup of tea.

    1. We got rain too - it melted away most of our lovely snow and turned the driveway into mud. Now it's back to freezing weather. But you're right - it's moisture! :)

      Thanks Ginnie.

  15. We've dipped into the high 30's at night and believe you me, these concrete buildings are COLD! And when I feel cold, I can't sleep. We don't have central heat so need to get a few more blankets out to put on the beds at night. Sending warm wishes your way for a wonderful weekend. Tammy

    1. Wow, I had no idea it ever got that cold there. I can believe the concrete gets pretty chilly - a good reason to hang gorgeous rugs all over the walls. :)

      Thanks Tammy!
